The cryptocurrency markets are experiencing a decline today, marked by relatively low trading volumes. Bitcoin is nearing $60K, while most altcoins are also facing losses.

Bitcoin Price Slides Toward $60K

Bitcoin’s price has decreased by 1.3% in the past 24 hours, accumulating a 6% loss for the week. Currently, Bitcoin is sliding toward $60K as overall trading volume remains low. In the last 24 hours, $100 million worth of liquidations occurred, with Bitcoin leading the way at $37 million.

Altcoins Bleeding Out

Large-cap altcoins are also charting declines. For instance, ETH is down 1.8%, BNB is down 1.6%, SOL is down 2.5%, and TON is down 1.7%. Others have seen more significant drops, such as UNI, which declined by 6%.

Meme Coins Also Decline

Meme coins have experienced similar losses, with the category as a whole down over 3% in the past 24 hours. DOGE and SHIB both declined by 1.3%. PEPE dropped by 5.2%, and BONK decreased by 3%.

Notable Performers

The worst performer today is Lido’s LDO governance token, which lost 15%. Ethena’s ENA dropped by 9.2%, followed by Starknet’s STRK, which is down 6.4%. On the other hand, Quant’s QNT token soared by 10%, making it the best performer of the day. Arweave’s AR token is the second best, with a 4% increase.

Market Overview

Trading volumes across the board have decreased to about $67 billion in the past day, which is typical for weekends. It will be interesting to see how this tight range resolves and whether the bulls will take a stand or if the correction will deepen.
