Bedrock, a leading liquid restaking protocol for multiple assets, has successfully secured funding aimed at accelerating its liquid restaking solutions and driving further expansion.

The investment round was spearheaded by OKX Ventures, LongHash Ventures, and Comma3 Ventures, with participation from Waterdrip Capital, Lbank Labs, Amber Group, ArcheFund, Whale Ground, and angel investors including Fisher Yu, co-founder of Babylon.
Since its inception, Bedrock has established itself as a trusted player in the Liquid Restaking (LRT) space, offering institutional-grade services. Currently, Bedrock’s Total Value Locked (TVL) for both Ethereum (uniETH) and IoTeX (uniIOTX) has surpassed $200 million. More recently, Bedrock has introduced native cross-chain restaking on networks like Arbitrum, Linea, Scroll, and Manta, with plans to expand to additional chains in the coming weeks.
Bedrock is committed to leading staking innovation by providing users with access to Bitcoin staking. As the first protocol built natively on Babylon, Bedrock is eager to revolutionize staking with the introduction of liquid staked Bitcoin (uniBTC), set to coincide with Babylon’s mainnet launch. This will allow users to earn staking rewards while maintaining liquidity with their Bitcoin holdings and engaging in other DeFi activities.
The concept of earning native staking rewards through restaking while contributing to ecosystem security has led to rapid adoption of Ethereum restaking. Bitcoin Staking has the potential to replicate this success, addressing Bitcoin’s capital dormancy and the capital dependency issues of Proof of Stake (PoS) chains with an untapped idle capital exceeding $1 trillion in 2024.
