BSUNIVERSE, the brains behind Baby Shark Universe (BSU), an open-world RPG set in the Pinkfong and Baby Shark universe, proudly announced the successful closure of a seed funding round, valuing the project at $34 million USD.

This milestone was achieved with the support of key investors including Animoca Brands, CREDIT SCEND, Sui Foundation, Comma3 Ventures, Creditcoin, GM Ventures, Neuler, Notch Ventures, X+, and Planetarium.

BSU offers players a unique gaming experience where they can shape the game’s narrative by creating their own in-game content such as items and maps, as well as enjoying content crafted by fellow players. Developed by seasoned professionals with over a decade of experience at South Korea’s prominent game company, Nexon, BSU promises a diverse range of metaverse-based gameplay, including combat, collecting, crafting, and NFT trading among users. In the future, it aims to introduce a user-generated-content (UGC) feature, allowing players to contribute their own creations.
