Andrew Tate Ignites Crypto Controversy with Massive Solana Meme Coin Burn

Andrew Tate, the well-known internet personality and former kickboxer, has captured the crypto community’s attention by burning over 587 million tokens of a newly launched Solana meme coin, TOP G.

Andrew Tate’s Bold Move in the Solana Ecosystem

In a series of provocative tweets, Andrew Tate announced he had burned $11 million worth of TOP G tokens by sending them to the SOL Incinerator. This bold move caused the price of the TOP G coin to surge by over 130%, boosting its market cap to more than $65 million.

The official Twitter account for the Top G meme coin praised Tate for burning 58% of the coin’s supply, leaving only 37% in circulation. The account suggested that this dramatic reduction in supply was a strategic move by Tate to increase the coin’s value, celebrating the decision with the declaration, “Now we cook.”

Strategic Play or Reckless Stunt?

Tate’s actions have sparked mixed reactions within the crypto community. While some view him as a reckless influencer, others see him as a savvy player using his influence to manipulate the market. Regardless, Tate’s ability to create waves in the crypto world is undeniable.

In another tweet, Tate wrote, “Feeling rich and reckless. 2000 RTs and I will diamond hands over 1M USD today into random shit that I NEVER EVER SELL.” This tweet, which received over 5700 retweets, led Tate to purchase $100,000 worth of GameStop (GME) shares at $46.55 per share. He also hinted at more similar actions with another tweet, “2000 RETWEETS AND I BUY MORE JUNK DIAMOND HANDS NEVER SELLING IN IT FOR THE LULZ WE MUST CRASH SOLANA.”

Impact on TOP G Price

The immediate impact of Tate’s actions was significant. The price of the Top G coin surged by over 135%, pushing the value of burned tokens to a massive $38.77 million. This impressive price rally was directly attributed to the massive token burn, which effectively removed a large portion of the tokens from the market.

The controversy surrounding Andrew Tate and the Top G coin is far from over. Tate has expressed his intention to perform similar burns on the Solana network and has even asked his fans to send him coins to execute his next move. The TOP G tokens he burned were reportedly sent by his fans, indicating their support for his actions.
