BNB Price DOJ Investigation Sparks Mixed Outlook

A minimalist infographic summarizing the market's polarized reaction: BNB's resilience vs. the uncertainty of the regulatory landscape.

BNB price DOJ investigation is now in focus. Reports say the US Department of Justice is investigating Binance. Specifically, it is checking whether Binance complied with its 2023 settlement deal.

At press time, BNB traded at $748. Its 24-hour trading volume reached $1.12 billion.

Why the BNB price DOJ investigation matters

Bloomberg reported the investigation. The DOJ is looking into whether Binance violated its settlement agreement. That agreement included a $4.3 billion fine. Binance pleaded guilty to violating banking guidelines. It also agreed to increase compliance controls.

Tysen Duva heads the DOJ’s criminal division. “There is an ongoing investigation there that we are involved with,” he said. He added that he would not get into specifics.

The probe follows another report. Binance is under fresh scrutiny for violating Iran sanctions. However, CEO Richard Teng criticized the accusations. He said the exchange has zero tolerance for sanctions violations.

Analysts weigh in on BNB price

Analyst Crypto Patel commented on X. He noted BNB trades above its accumulation zone. That zone sits between $350 and $525. He said the bullish leg after this breakout could push BNB to $2,000.

However, other analysts see a downtrend. Analyst Jesse Olson noted a sell signal on the daily chart. He said it could trigger a drop to the $600 zone.

Another analyst, Cryptorphic, also commented. He said the short-term outlook is under pressure. If BNB fails to reclaim $746, he warns of a steeper drop to $674.

The mixed outlook comes as BNB ETFs record $98.89 million in inflows month-to-date. This marks the best-performing month since launching in May 2026. The rising inflows follow VanEck’s update. It added staking to its spot BNB ETF.

BNB price prediction: key levels to watch

The daily chart shows BNB dropped below a trendline. Specifically, it fell below the lower trendline of an ascending parallel channel. This suggests weakening bullish momentum. Consequently, BNB may record a downside trend reversal.

BNB now faces crucial support at the 61.8% Fib of $730. Breaking below this support could push Binance Coin to $681.

The AO bars also support a bearish outlook. The RSI reading at 47 shows bears have a slight upper hand.

BNB will confirm an uptrend resumption if it closes above the channel’s midline resistance. Such a move could pave the way for $809.
