Canary Staked TRX ETF Launches on Cboe BZX

Validation Confirmed: Following a deep review of filing factors and previous regulatory skepticism, the Canary Staked TRX ETF has been approved and launched on Cboe BZX, driven by strong token demand, high staking efficiency, and neutralized liquidity fears.

Canary Staked TRX ETF launches today on Cboe BZX Exchange. The product trades under the ticker TRXS.

It gives U.S. investors the first regulated product. The ETF combines spot token exposure with on-chain staking rewards. TRON price has jumped more than 1% over the last 24 hours.

Why Canary Staked TRX ETF matters

Canary Capital confirmed the launch on September 9. The issuer will list and trade shares on Cboe BZX. The latest SEC filings confirm approval for the product.

The ETF offers investors exposure to TRON price. It also generates staking rewards through TRON’s proof-of-stake process. This is a significant development for the network.

The TRX ETF has disclosed a 1.10% management fee. The issuer will cover ordinary operating expenses up to $200,000 per fiscal year. The issuer has not disclosed any fee waiver nevertheless.

Staking details and seed capital

Canary Capital expects to stake 90% of TRX under normal conditions. Staking rewards are shared among providers, sponsor, and custodian. Total staking fees will not exceed 20% of the rewards.

“As of the date of this prospectus, the aggregate Staking Fees are expected to be 20% of the TRX staking rewards,” the filing states. “This results in the Trust retaining 80% of the TRX staking rewards generated by the Staking Program.”

The filing also revealed seed capital investment. Canary Capital Group plans to purchase 10,000 shares at $25 per share.

TRON price action ahead of launch

TRON price surged almost 1.50% over the past 24 hours. It currently trades around $0.339. Analysts note the move is more significant for access than for immediate price impact.

The spot ETF will let brokerage-account holders participate in TRON staking. They can do this without managing wallets or lock-up periods.

Justin Sun reacted to the news. “After shouting for so many years about institutions entering the market, they’ve finally arrived!” he said.

Canary has already launched several other altcoin ETFs. These include crypto products tied to XRP, Litecoin, and Solana.

Derivatives market reaction

Derivatives markets showed mixed sentiment, according to Coinglass data. Total TRX futures open interest jumped more than 0.50% in the last 4 hours. It now stands at $264.31 million.
