Bitcoin ETF inflows rebound with $526.7 million on Monday. This was their largest daily intake in nearly a month.
Specifically, Monday’s inflow reversed Friday’s $82.4 million in net outflows. According to Farside Investors, it was the strongest since September 22. On that day, the funds attracted $714.7 million.
Why Bitcoin ETF inflows rebound matters
US spot Bitcoin ETFs had posted weekly net withdrawals for two straight weeks. Consequently, Monday’s gain marked a sharp reversal. Last week, the funds shed about $229 million. The week before, they lost $681 million. Also, the funds recorded $483.9 million in outflows on October 7. That was their largest daily withdrawal since June.
BlackRock IBIT leads the rebound
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust led the inflows. It brought in $665.2 million. Notably, that exceeded the net total across all funds.
The gains were partly offset by withdrawals from two funds. Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund lost $83.6 million. Grayscale Bitcoin Trust lost $54.9 million. Other funds recorded no net flows, according to Farside.
October remains slightly negative
Despite Monday’s inflows, US spot Bitcoin ETFs remain about $90 million negative for October. Farside’s daily figures confirm this.
Meanwhile, US spot Ether ETFs recorded $103.3 million in net outflows on Monday. BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust led the withdrawals with $95.4 million. Ether funds lost about $320 million last week. That marked their third consecutive week of net withdrawals.
What comes next
Monday’s rebound shows renewed institutional demand. However, October remains slightly negative. Therefore, traders will watch whether inflows continue. If they do, Bitcoin ETFs could erase the monthly deficit. If they fade, the recent rebound may be short-lived.
