Bitcoin ETF Outflows Hit $89.9M as BTC Falls

A minimalist visual summary of the market activity, illustrating the direct downward pressure of $89.9 million in ETF outflows during a Bitcoin price fall.

Bitcoin ETF outflows returned on Monday, totaling $89.9 million. This reversed two days of inflows. Meanwhile, Bitcoin slipped below $86,000.

The pullback came a day before the first anniversary of Bitcoin’s all-time high. Specifically, that peak was $126,080 on October 6, 2025. At press time, BTC traded at $85,559. Therefore, it sits roughly 32% below its record.

Why Bitcoin ETF outflows matter

US spot Bitcoin ETFs shed $89.9 million on Monday. Before that, they attracted around $293 million over two sessions. Total trading volume reached $2.18 billion. Farside Investors data confirms these figures.

Altcoin ETFs post mixed results

Other altcoin ETFs showed mixed results on Monday. For example, Solana funds recorded $9.3 million in net outflows. Zcash funds lost $3.6 million. In contrast, XRP ETFs saw no net flows. That followed $3.3 million in outflows on Friday.

What comes next

Bitcoin ETF outflows may continue if BTC stays below $86,000. However, a price recovery could bring inflows back. Additionally, Ether’s five-day losing streak signals caution. Therefore, traders will watch both trends closely.
