Binance Futures contracts are expanding into traditional finance. The exchange launched three new perpetual contracts on July 27.
These contracts track U.S. Treasury bond ETFs and the ProShares Bitcoin ETF. This adds to Binance’s growing list of tokenized derivatives.
Why Binance Futures contracts matter
Binance rolled out TMFUSDT at 13:30 UTC. This contract follows the Direxion Daily 20+ Year Treasury Bull 3X ETF. It tracks the performance of 20-year U.S. Treasury bonds.
Five minutes later, Binance launched TBTUSDT. This is a short-term bet on the UltraShort 20+ Year Treasury ETF. Finally, BITOUSDT launched at 13:40 UTC. This tracks the ProShares Bitcoin ETF.
All three contracts settle in USDT. They trade 24 hours a day. Leverage up to 25x is available. The minimum order size is 0.01 units per contract.
Funding payments occur every 8 hours. The funding rate ranges between +2.00% and -2.00%. Binance also corrected the interest rate to 0%.
What are the important things to consider?
The new contracts support Multi-Assets Mode. This feature allows users to use multiple asset types as margin. Previously, users could only use a single asset type.
Binance also clarified the funding interval mechanism. It does not apply to these contracts. The settlement cycle remains 8 hours. It will not automatically change to 1-hour intervals.
The trading parameters may adjust as market conditions change. These changes could affect leverage and funding fees. Tick size and margin requirements may also change.
Additionally, this listing notice overrides any conflicting information. This applies to the Futures FAQ. Binance explicitly stated this in their announcement.
