Crypto ETF Outflows Hit $70.7M Weekly

Capital Exiting: A detailed breakdown of the recent weekly performance of a Multi-Crypto ETF, visualizing how $70.7M of capital was withdrawn, a status confirmed by key fund metrics.

Crypto ETF outflows reached about $70.7 million last week. The period covered September 14–18.

Ether fund withdrawals outweighed demand for Bitcoin, Solana, and Hyperliquid products.

Why crypto ETF outflows matter

The four U.S. crypto ETF categories diverged sharply. Bitcoin products recovered from midweek losses. Ether ETFs failed to erase their deficits.

Solana funds drew fresh capital in four of five sessions. Hyperliquid products also finished positive. Their $3.1 million weekly gain remained small nevertheless.

Bitcoin ETFs erase most weekly losses

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted a $6.1 million net inflow for the week. Two large redemption days nearly pushed the group to a steep loss.

BlackRock’s IBIT led the weekly rankings with $120.6 million. Fidelity’s FBTC followed with $79.9 million. FBTC drew $310.7 million on Friday alone.

The late reversal coincided with Bitcoin’s return above $80,000. The Fed raised rates earlier in the week. Oil prices eased later. Crypto-linked stocks recovered as well.

Ether ETFs post $140.6M weekly outflow

U.S. spot Ether ETFs recorded about $140.6 million in net withdrawals. Therefore, Ether was the weakest of the four categories.

Conclusion

Across all four categories, about $70.7 million exited on a net basis. The $140.6 million Ether outflow exceeded combined inflows into Bitcoin, Solana, and Hyperliquid funds. Therefore, crypto ETF outflows were driven mainly by Ether weakness.
