Ether ETF Outflows Break 12-Day Streak With $48M

A New Flow: After twelve consecutive days of outflows, Ethereum ETFs broke the trend with a decisive $48M inflow.

Ether ETF outflows hit $48 million on Wednesday. This ended 12 consecutive trading days of inflows.

The funds had attracted $1.62 billion during the streak. XRP ETFs also posted outflows after an 11-session run.

Why Ether ETF outflows matter

BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust ETF led the outflows. It lost $53.4 million. The Fidelity Ethereum Fund shed $26.2 million. Grayscale Ethereum Staking ETF lost $23.5 million.

BlackRock’s staked Ether ETF partially offset those withdrawals. It brought in around $53 million in net inflows.

Spot XRP ETFs also posted $7.2 million in net outflows. This ended an 11-session inflow streak. The streak brought in about $170 million. Cumulative XRP ETF inflows now sit at about $1.68 billion.

Bitcoin ETFs moved in the opposite direction. They drew $101.2 million on Wednesday. This followed $236.5 million in net outflows a day earlier.

Price action reflects ETF flows

The shift in ETF flows came as cryptocurrency prices declined. Ether led losses over the past seven days. It dropped 3.4%. XRP fell 2.4%. Bitcoin declined 1.3%.
