Hyperliquid Permissionless Deployment for Prediction Markets

Hyperliquid permissionless deployment is coming soon. The platform will support HIP-4 outcome markets in a future upgrade.

This will allow anyone to launch prediction markets. Deployers will use validator-approved templates. They can earn 50% fee revenue.

Hyperliquid permissionless deployment details

The upgrade will launch first on testnet. It will then move to mainnet.

“The technology required sufficient battle testing,” Hyperliquid said. This happened before scaling to permissionless deployment.

Deployers must stake 500k HYPE tokens. Validator votes can slash these tokens. This applies to bad settlements and poorly defined markets.

Other requirements include a 6-month stake-locking period. Deployers must settle all markets to unstake.

Deployers can earn up to 50% of trading fees. There are no restrictions on launching identical markets. This boosts competition.

Permissionless deployment is important for growth. Prediction market events exceed underlying assets. This applies to perps and spot tokenization.

Hyperliquid also announced follow-up features. These include fee configurability and an auction mechanism.

Will HYPE repeat historical rally?

HYPE rallied almost 100% after HIP-4 launched in May. The launch included Kalshi prediction market integration.

Users could trade non-linear, fixed-range contracts. They could also trade bounded options. There was no leverage or liquidation risk.

HYPE price continues trading range-bound near $60. The 24-hour low is $59.89. The high reached $61.56. Trading volume remains lower at 2%.

A16z-linked wallet started selling HYPE holdings earlier. This caused a 12% price drop. Nevertheless, Hyperliquid captured a record 9.5% market share. This applies to aggregate perpetual futures OI.

Derivatives sentiment remains mixed. Total HYPE futures OI dropped more than 2%. It now stands at $1.36 billion. However, futures OI on Hyperliquid, Binance, and Bybit climbed. This happened in the last few hours.
