Arc network memecoin volume dominated its first day. Specifically, meme coin launchpads accounted for roughly 82% of $410.8 million in DEX volume.
Circle built Arc for financial markets. It also targeted real-time money movement and agentic activity. However, speculative traders set the tone on day one.
Why Arc network memecoin volume matters
Arc is an open Layer 1 built by Circle. Circle issues USDC. The company marketed Arc as an “economic operating system” for the internet.
Its founding validator set includes BlackRock, Visa, and Mastercard. DTCC and ICE also participate.
More than 100 institutional and ecosystem builders deployed on Arc. They tested its private mainnet before the public opening.
Asset managers are moving tokenized funds onto the chain. These include Bitwise, BlackRock, and Janus Henderson.
Payment firms like Visa and MoneyGram plan stablecoin settlement. Trading venues arrived alongside them. Uniswap, Robinhood, and Pump.fun are expanding markets.
“Today we are switching on something the world has never had before,” said Jeremy Allaire. He is Circle’s Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO. He described an open, neutral, always-on economic operating system.
However, on-chain data showed a different crowd. Analyst Adam compiled the data.
Arguspad swallowed half of day one
Launchpad tokens generated $336.26 million of first-day trading. Dune data confirms this. Arguspad alone handled $202.35 million.

Minara.fun followed with $36.41 million. Tollylabs handled $19.65 million.
Arguspad also minted 83,751 tokens in 24 hours. That is more than 86% of every token created.
Overall, traders minted 97,025 tokens. They pushed 7.76 million transactions through the chain. This happened on September 16.
Traders had flagged the setup before launch
Traders drew a straight line to Robinhood Chain. That chain cleared just $14.74 million on its opening day. This was on July 1.

Arc’s debut ran nearly 28 times larger.
Now, the key question is durability. Robinhood Chain cooled through August. It reached a $3.7 billion daily record this month.
Arc’s coming weeks will show the pace. Specifically, they will show whether institutional flow or launchpad churn sets it.
