Nevertheless, the funds remain negative for the year. They have recorded $5.3 billion in outflows so far.

Why Bitcoin ETF inflows matter
July’s positive inflows followed a volatile month. The funds logged a $265.4 million outflow on Friday. This marked their largest daily withdrawal since July 13.

The monthly inflows reversed nearly $7 billion in outflows. This came from May and June combined. June was the largest outflow month at $4.5 billion. The weak finish showed investors remain cautious nevertheless.
Year-to-date, Bitcoin ETFs have seen mixed performance. March, April, and July were positive. They brought in $3.46 billion combined. January, February, May, and June were negative. They posted outflows totaling $8.75 billion.
Weekly flows turn negative
Three consecutive weeks of inflows ended. Bitcoin ETFs recorded a $61.53 million outflow for the week ending July 31.
Total net assets stood at $76.29 billion at month-end. Cumulative net inflows since launch remain at $51.32 billion.
Ethereum ETFs show strength
Ethereum ETFs stood out in July. They posted four consecutive weeks of inflows. The funds ended the month with $365.2 million in net inflows.

This marked the second positive month for Ether ETFs. April saw $356 million in inflows. Year-to-date outflows remain at $1.1 billion nevertheless.
XRP ETFs maintain steady demand

XRP ETFs recorded $27.3 million in July inflows. This marked their sixth positive month of 2026. The products have recorded $343 million in net inflows year-to-date.
