In an effort to involve developers in the growing Blast ecosystem, the Blast team has outlined that 50% of the airdrop will be specifically designated for developers, while the remaining 50% will be allocated to users engaged in Blast staking.
Developers participating in the “Blast BIG BANG” competition stand a chance to receive tokens through the airdrop mechanism.
Upon the completion of the airdrop competition, the winning developers will be publicly announced and introduced to the broader Blast user community when the mainnet is set to go live at the close of February.
It’s worth noting that the renowned NFT marketplace Blur made headlines in 2023 by distributing BLUR tokens worth a substantial $800 million to NFT investors.
Despite a nearly 10% increase in BLUR’s value yesterday, reaching $0.73, the token is currently trading at $0.67, relinquishing some of those gains at the time of this statement.
