Bitcoin price rally to $400,000 by 2030 is a “reasonable target.” Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said this on Thursday.
He added that BTC has already hit bottom. He expects upside amid pressure in global bond markets.
Why the Bitcoin price rally prediction matters
Armstrong told CNBC on September 10 about his target. He argued the market has already found a bottom. Clearer regulations would unlock more capital, he said.
The Coinbase CEO cited several reasons. These include the CLARITY Act and White House pressure on regulators. Stronger ETF demand and Bitcoin’s fixed 21 million supply also matter.
He added that even if the CLARITY Act doesn’t pass in September, the SEC and CFTC are pushing crypto rulemaking. Notably, the $400,000 target is lower than his earlier $1 million prediction. He also believes Bitcoin can reclaim $100,000 by the end of 2026.
CZ and Glassnode signal upcoming market rally
Binance founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao shared his view. He believes Bitcoin will overtake gold. He said this “could happen” in the next bull run. He argued governments will gradually treat Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset. The shift may take years nevertheless.
“The market gives you plenty of opportunities to enter,” CZ said. “All you have to do is make the right decisions.”
Meanwhile, Glassnode noted that US spot Bitcoin ETFs have climbed. They are now near the break-even level. Institutional cost basis is now a resistance level. Bitcoin price must move through it for further upside.
A sustained break above that band would mark a paradigm shift. It would trigger massive institutional capital into spot Bitcoin ETFs. Additionally, the Coinbase Premium 30DMA has recovered. It moved back around positive levels.
Other factors supporting Bitcoin
As previously reported, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP could also benefit. This relates to a potential Trump dividend. President Trump promised $5,000 to every US citizen. This would happen if Republicans win both the House and Senate.
Polymarket data shows prediction market expectations. Participants expect Bitcoin to reach $85,000 by December 31, 2026. The odds are 64% “Yes” bets.

Bitcoin price currently trades at $77,000. It is down slightly as investors await US CPI and PPI data. Fed rate hike odds rising above 60% kept traders cautious. Continued strikes in the US-Iran war also elevated pressure.
