Cathie Wood Predicts Bitcoin Could Reach $1.5M by 2030
ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood believes Bitcoin could hit $1.5 million by 2030, fueled by institutional adoption and increasing demand.
Speaking in a Feb. 11 video, Wood said:
“We actually think the odds have gone up that our bull case will be the right number, because of what is becoming the institutionalization of this new asset class.”
More institutional investors are now considering Bitcoin as a key part of their portfolios. Growing ETF adoption could further boost demand, potentially driving prices higher.

Bitcoin’s Growth Trajectory & Price Forecasts
ARK Invest’s Big Ideas 2025 report outlines three possible scenarios for Bitcoin’s future:

Bitcoin price targets 2030. Source: ARK Invest
✅ Bull case: $1.5M per BTC (58% CAGR)
✅ Base case: $710K per BTC (40% CAGR)
✅ Bear case: $300K per BTC (21% CAGR)
While long-term growth looks promising, Bitcoin must first break the $100,000 resistance to sustain momentum. Analysts suggest a failure to do so could trigger a short-term dip to $95,000, while a breakout could push prices to $106,500.

Additionally, Bitcoin’s limited supply plays a key role. With only 2.5 million BTC left on exchanges, a supply shock could drive prices up if demand continues to rise.
