Poland now ranks among the top five nations for Bitcoin ATMs, surpassing El Salvador with a total of 219 machines.

Poland Rises in Global Bitcoin ATM Rankings
Poland has secured the fifth spot in global Bitcoin ATM rankings after installing 10 new machines on January 27, bringing its total to 219 active ATMs. This development pushed El Salvador, which has 215 ATMs, down to sixth place, according to Coin ATM Radar.
Rapid Growth in Poland’s Crypto ATM Network
Over the past four months, Poland’s crypto ATM infrastructure has grown rapidly. Since October 2024, the country has added 24 new machines. January alone saw the deployment of 12 ATMs, with more installations expected before month’s end.

This growth highlights Poland’s increasing adoption of cryptocurrency, driven by a mix of regulatory support and public interest.
Global Bitcoin ATM Landscape
The United States and Canada remain leaders in the crypto ATM space, boasting the largest number of machines worldwide. They are followed by Spain and Australia, which has shown consistent growth for nearly three years. Australia joined the 1,000+ Bitcoin ATM club in April 2024.

El Salvador, once ranked third globally in October 2022 with its 215 ATMs, has experienced a slowdown in ATM expansion. This contrasts with its early efforts to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender.
Bitcoin ATM Growth Worldwide
Currently, there are over 38,000 crypto ATMs operating across 65 countries, reflecting the growing adoption of cryptocurrency globally. These installations play a key role in making Bitcoin and other digital assets more accessible.
