Bitcoin jumps on Iran Oman talks on Tuesday. Qatar confirmed negotiations over the Strait of Hormuz have reached an “advanced” stage.

Oil prices dropped sharply more than 2%. Hopes of de-escalation in the US-Iran war drove the move.

Bitcoin climbs as oil prices fall

Oil prices hit over $84.5 earlier today. Nevertheless, Qatar and Pakistan’s comments eased concerns. Oil fell back below $82 per barrel.

US stock futures rebounded on the news. S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures showed modest gains.

Bitcoin price jumped 0.80% within hours and then it dipped again. The price currently trades near $63,547. The 24-hour low was $63,500. The high reached $65,172.
