An isometric corporate infographic displaying details of a massive Ethereum acquisition by BitMine. On the left, a high-tech corporate structure features the "BitMine" logo with a pickaxe and text reading "BITMINE IMMERSION TECHNOLOGIES – CORPORATE TREASURY." A thick, upward-pointing neon-green arrow labeled "STRATEGIC ACCUMULATION" rises from the base. In the center, a large 3D Ethereum diamond logo sits above the text "ETHEREUM: 7,430 NEW ETH TOKENS" and a printed transaction receipt sheet. The right side features a large glowing blue digital dashboard titled "BITMINE'S GROWING ETH TREASURY," highlighting metrics like "5.78M+ TOTAL ETH HOLDINGS," a bar chart comparing staked and total assets, a circular ownership pie chart showing "BITMINE: 4.8% OF TOTAL ETH SUPPLY," and a rocket ship emblazoned with an ETH logo pointing toward a "GOAL: 5.0%" milestone. The background features dark blue circuitry paths populated by small floating cryptocurrency coins.

BitMine buys ETH again this week. The company added 7,430 tokens to its corporate treasury.

Total holdings now stand at 5,777,468 ETH. This represents about 4.8% of Ethereum’s supply. The company is moving closer to its 5% target.

How BitMine buys ETH while repurchasing shares

BitMine valued its ETH position at $1,879 per token. This valuation uses the July 19 price. The company also holds $385 million in cash. It has 207 Bitcoin and other investments.

Total crypto, cash, and investment portfolio is $11.5 billion.

This latest purchase is much smaller than previous weeks. The company added 27,801 ETH last week. That brought holdings to 5.77 million tokens. The new 7,430 ETH pushed the figure slightly higher.

Chairman Tom Lee explained the slower pace. “Over the past week, we acquired 7,430 ETH,” he said. The slower buying reflected stock repurchases. BitMine has continued buying ETH every week. This strategy started on June 30, 2025.

The company repurchased 5.5 million common shares. Average price was $15.6156 per share. This used its authorized $4 billion buyback program. Lee viewed the purchases as beneficial to shareholder value.

Nevertheless, future effects depend on stock performance. The decision marks a shift in weekly deployment. It is not a pause in the Ethereum strategy. BitMine remains focused on the “Alchemy of 5%.”

Current holdings place the company about 96% toward the target.

BitMine stakes 85% of its Ethereum treasury

BitMine has staked most of its ETH holdings. The company reported 4,917,189 ETH staked on July 19. This equals about 85% of its 5.78 million ETH treasury.

The staked assets are valued at roughly $9.2 billion. Current staking operations could generate $247 million annually. Annual rewards could reach $290 million if fully staked.

These figures remain estimates. They depend on staking yields and validator performance. The amount of ETH deployed also affects revenue.

Staking income has risen sharply recently. Ethereum staking generated $45.7 million during the quarter. This represented 98% of $46.5 million quarterly revenue. The data covers the three months ending May 31.

BitMine started native staking in November 2025. It launched MAVAN in March 2026. The platform supports its own holdings. It also targets institutional investors and custodians.

Ethereum treasury remains close to the 5% target

BitMine’s latest purchase extends rapid accumulation. The treasury stood at 5,770,038 ETH last week. The company bought 27,801 tokens then. It has continued adding ETH steadily.

Prices have traded well below earlier levels. Nevertheless, the company persists with accumulation.

Staking is now a larger part of operations. It has become the main revenue source. This replaces earlier Bitcoin mining activity.

Other investments

The company holds investments outside ETH. It has a $180 million stake in Beast Industries. There is also a $58 million position in Eightco Holdings. Cash and securities add $385 million. Combined value totals $11.5 billion.

BitMine joined the Russell 1000 on June 26. Shares recorded $579 million average daily volume. This covers the five days ending July 17.

Weekly purchases continue despite slower pace

The latest 7,430 ETH purchase shows continued accumulation. The buying rate has slowed nevertheless. The company directs capital toward share repurchases.

BitMine remains the largest corporate ETH holder. Its 5.78 million ETH position is close to the 5% goal. This strategy has guided the company since 2025.

Staking is now a growing revenue source. About 4.92 million ETH is already deployed. Changes in staking yields directly affect income. Validator performance and network changes also matter.
